On September 20, the School inaugurated Le Repaire, a new convivial space dedicated to entrepreneurship, entirely funded by the CentraleSupélec Foundation. On this occasion, the School’s entrepreneurship team presented CentraleSupélec’s new positioning on this strategic axis, which has been part of its DNA since its creation.
A large space for conviviality
Although CentraleSupélec’s entrepreneurs now have three incubation sites in Paris-Saclay, Rennes and Station F in Paris, they still lacked a friendly space to meet, promote entrepreneurship at the School, and organize events.
This is now a reality with the opening of Le Repaire, located in the Bouygues building on the Paris-Saclay campus.
In 2022, this space will be further enhanced with 1,500 m2 of offices dedicated to startups in the growth phase, which will be installed in the Bréguet building.
CentraleSupélec: a unique ecosystem for entrepreneurs
The creation of the Repaire further strengthens the School’s offer to its student, graduate and faculty entrepreneurs, now embodied in the 21ST by CentraleSupélec program.
In 2021, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its incubator, CentraleSupélec will transform it into a “startup accelerator” to encourage and support the development of the best projects and disruptive innovations addressing the key issues of the 21st century.
An unhurried acceleration that favors the long term with programs lasting a minimum of 12 months and benefiting from a complete offer: 3 incubation sites adapted to the nature and needs of each startup, the support of the School’s laboratories and chairs, state-of-the-art Fablabs for all manufacturing and prototyping needs, double mentoring by a CentraleSupélec entrepreneur and an expert or teacher-researcher specializing in the field of innovation concerned…
The CentraleSupélec Foundation, a multidimensional supporter of 21ST by CentraleSupélec, also offers startups loans of up to €90K, and the possibility of an equity investment.
