A LOOK BACK AT the Quinquennales 2022
The Quinquennials were back on Saturday, April 9 for an in-person edition.
Co-organized by the CentraleSupélec Foundation, CentraleSupélec Alumni and the School, this event gathered nearly 500 Centrale and Supélec Alumni and their families for this 2022 edition!
This year, the graduating classes finishing in 2 and 7 were in the spotlight and were able to spend a day on the new Paris-Saclay campus.
The Quinquennales, a very full agenda
After a musical welcome by the Band’à Joe, the participants were able to visit the new Paris-Saclay campus and some of the School’s laboratories, guided by student volunteers.
The different groups then moved to the Michelin Amphitheatre, to attend the welcome speech by Romain Soubeyran, CentraleSupélec’s General Director, Corine Dubruel, President of CentraleSupélec Alumni, and Flavien Kulawik, President of the CentraleSupélec Foundation’s Campaign Committee.
The Alumni and their families were then free to discover the rest of the program:
- Art exhibition by Bruno Allain, Charles Giulioli and Brigitte Durand-Rival
- Forum with stands of student associations, laboratories, startups and departments of the School,
- Animations for children: Fresque du Climat, Space Exploration and Tech Club
- Coffee break served by the association Huma CS.
A round table on the energy transition was also proposed, moderated by Christophe Laux, with three alumni: Carmen Munoz, Julien Belliato and Alexandre Feray.
The evening ended with a magic and mentalism show by Taha Mansour, and a concertfollowed by a cocktail reception.
See you next year!
A big thank you to all the participants and volunteers for this successful day!
