Ingénieuses: promoting gender diversity in the engineering profession
Created in 2011 by the CDEFI, the Ingénieuses operation aims to fight against gender stereotypes, to promote gender equality at school and in the professional sphere, and to encourage young girls to choose scientific and technological training and the engineering profession.
It takes the form of a national communication campaign and a competition culminating in an awards ceremony.
CentraleSupélec's Summer Camp
The CentraleSupélec Summer Camp is a summer camp for high school students between the second and first year of high school (scientific specialties) at the heart of CentraleSupélec on the Paris Saclay campus. The Summer Camp benefits from financial support from the CentraleSupélec Foundation .
What is the goal ?
To promote science and its applications, to provide tools for preparing one’s orientation, to introduce one to campus life, and to encourage the diversity of the profiles recruited at CentraleSupélec.
By respecting a recruitment quota of 51% girls and 51% scholarship holders, the Summer Camp wishes to act against self-censorship in the choice of orientation towards scientific studies.
Summer Camp will return in July 2022 for two additional sessions.
